About Active Luton

Active Luton is our town’s community wellbeing trust. Its mission is to make a positive impact on the health and wellbeing of our community; inspiring, motivating and offering opportunities for people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds to learn and take action to improve their life chances, health and wellbeing, enhance their education and skills; and create career opportunities.  

Working at the heart of our community Active Luton is responsible for: 

• Luton’s three main leisure centres (Inspire: Luton Sports Village, Lea Manor Recreation Centre and Lewsey Sports Park & Pool)
• Stockwood Park Golf Centre and Stockwood Park Athletics Centre
• Luton Libraries
• Hart Hill Community Centre
• Wide-ranging healthy lifestyles programmes as part of Total Wellbeing Luton
• Luton’s Holiday Activity and Food programme for children (funded by the Department for Education)
