Searching the Catalogue

To search the library catalogue, click the magnifying glass icon in the top-right corner of the library website. Enter a keyword—such as a title, author's name, or subject—into the search box.

By default, results will show items available in Luton Libraries. To expand your search to include our partner libraries, change the "Search Limit" to "All Locations".

 

Placing Reservations

Click on an item’s cover image to view more details, including its location and availability.
To reserve an item:

  1. Select the format (if applicable).
  2. Choose your preferred pickup location.
  3. Click "Place Reservation".

You’ll receive a notification by email or text when your item is ready for collection.

 

Suggest a Purchase

Can’t find what you’re looking for? You can suggest a new item for the library to purchase:

  1. Go to "Account" > "Contact Us".
  2. In the Subject field, type "Suggest a Book".
  3. In the Message box, include the title, author, and (if known) the edition.

Our team will review your suggestion and email you to confirm whether it will be ordered. Please note: new purchases may take a few weeks to arrive, depending on supplier availability.
